Roots in old-school punk, prog-rock, metal, among a plethora of other styles, with slap in the face of some good n' filthy experimentation. I had originally dismissed them as a messy precursor to The Mars Volta, but have since realized that I'm an idiot. The albums are niccce. But I started with the collection,
This Station is Non-Operational. The group is awesome, but I think I may be just about the last person to figure that out. Check them out. And The Mars Volta, too, for that matter. Day nasty.
